I'm Phil Stone, a qualified, professional Clinical Hypnotherapist based in Herne Bay, Kent.
My aim is to make Sports Performance hypnosis affordable and accessible with total transparency and without theatrics.
I specialise in working with clients wishing to improve their performance in sport. I am proud to have worked with many sportspeople including Team GB athletes.
Mental fitness is as important as physical fitness when it comes to sport. How you think affects the way you perform.
Mind coaching in some form, including hypnosis, is now the norm, especially for top level sportspeople. Its importance is recognised globally and it can be difficult to reach your full potential without some form of mental training.
As a former motorcycle racer I know the importance of mental strength which is why I've chosen to specialise in sports performance hypnosis.

All hypnotherapy sessions are strictly by appointment at my office in Herne Bay, Kent.
Weekend and evening appointments may be available.

Clients must be 16 years or older. Clients who are 16 or 17 must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the session.
Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for a healthy diet, exercise and/or appropriate and realistic instruction, training and practice. Injuries should be assessed by a Health Professional. I am not qualified to advise on these issues.
If you wear contact lenses please bear in mind that your eyes will be closed for a minimum of 1/2 hour therefore it may be preferable to wear glasses for the session.
Unfortunately hypnotherapy is not suitable for persons suffering from psychosis, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, certain types of brain damage and those who have low cognitive function.
If you are pregnant or suffer from epilepsy, diabetes or asthma, you are advised to speak to your G.P. or Health Professional prior to making an appointment although it's extremely rare that hypnotherapy will not be suitable.
Clients under the influence of mind altering substances (alcohol and/or drugs) are not suitable for a hypnotherapy session.
Please inform me as early as possible if you wish to cancel an appointment as cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full fee. If you are late for your appointment we will still need to finish at the allotted time.

Q. How does hypnotherapy work?
A. Through guided visualisation (not a swinging watch!) the body and mind are relaxed. The unconscious mind then becomes much more receptive to positive suggestion which can subsequently help you change your own mind and the way you think and behave.
Q. What does it feel like to be hypnotised?
A. Everyone experiences hypnosis in different ways but it is often described as a combination of deep relaxation and daydreaming.
Q. Will I be in control during the session?
A. Yes, at all times. You will be free to open your eyes and leave the room at any time during the session should you choose to.
